I selected a mosaic tile ( Alato Beachwalk from The Tile Shop) in neutral tones with a fun pattern. I wanted to a create a moment, a wow factor, a statement, extending this accent tile to the ceiling did precisely that. A satin finish was used on the cabinets with an eggshell finish on the walls. I used Sherwin Williams City Loft (7631) paint. To open a small space painting the cabinets and the walls the same color can make the area appear more significant.
